Crowing

I can hear two other roosters in our neighborhood.  In the past, I just heard roosters.  Now I hear weak, high-pitched, sad attempts at crowing compared to our Marty Poopins’ confident and robust announcement to the world.  I think it’s like comparing your own child to someone else’s.

  1. He does crow in the morning, but it’s not predictable. If I had visitors, I’m certain he would start very early and carry on for a long time. He’s surprisingly loud. Although the volume is lower, it’s like standing next to a speaker at a concert. You can feel it. He crows all day. He does it more in the evening though.
